Okay, so it has been a while since we posted. Not a whole lot has happened. It has been pretty hot here, so we don't spend large chunks of time in the bus.
We have been slowly chipping away at dismantling the interior. I liken it to a Russian Babushka Doll, where you open one, only to find another, and another, and another.
We remove one part of the interior, and waiting is another part, and another, and another.
These buses are really well built, designed to survive literally millions of miles on the road.
Tons of rivets, screws and bolts. Lots of galvanic corrosion between disimilar metals, making it very difficult to remove many of the fasteners.
The most difficult so far were the stainless bolts attaching the seat rails to the walls. More than a few had to be sawzalled out.

More ductwork
Removing a bazillion rivets with the air chisel.
We found the the best way to remove the rivets was to take a punch and tap the rivet mandrel back behind the head. This way the chisel only has to remove the rivet head. Goes much, much, much, much faster.
Didnt really take all that long. Maybe and hour and a half per side.
